Park Changes!

March 13, 2013 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

With a brief breather in our competition streak, Park Staff was able to get their creativity flowing on Chair 9!  We have some wild new features most of which include multiple jibs and possibilities. The SUV is set with an angle into the Van for all sorts of options. The Tank from Trans AM has transition all around it with a Double-Corrugated slide and Pole Jam transfer on to it.

New Jump Line!

January 26, 2013 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Central Park had some big changes this week and now has a sweet Slope Style setup for tomorrow’s USASA event! The setup will remain after the contest and consists of a road gap next to a 30 foot flat box and then goes into a double jump line with advanced and beginner/intermediate  take offs! The Minipipe, Halfpipe, and Superpipe are all open and we have quarterpipes all over Park Run! Between both resorts we have the deepest snow pack, the most open terrain in So. Cal. and over 200 park features! Don’t forget about the night session tonight at Snow Summit! Ride a full park setup on Westridge with jump lines, hips, walls, and lots of jibs including a new square Donkey Rail that is really fun!

Eventful Weekend!

January 12, 2013 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

If you are heading to Big Bear for the weekend your timing is perfect! We received 3-5 inches of fresh snow on Thursday and the midwinter conditions are excellent with machine groomed packed powder  runs! Gambler has been upgraded to 40ft and the Superpipe is next to open. With over 140 features the park is fully pumped with boxes, rails, and jumps for all levels of riders! It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out and want to try your first trick, or you’re an expert and ready for it all. This weekend is Volcom Stone’s Peanut Butter & Rail Jam

Fun For All

January 9, 2013 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Our mountain is jam packed with an updated feature count of 140! With everything from hips, walls, quarterpipes, jibs, jumps, and some features so creative we aren’t even sure what category to put them in! But thanks to Dan the man from our loyal Park Staff, we do know that of our 140 features only 27 of them are for advanced or expert riders! This means we have 113 features made for starters, beginners, and intermediate riders! Also our new edit Sunday In the Park is out and well worth a quick watch to get yourself stoked for your next trip! Park Staff also built up Bottom Jump making it a sick 40 ft. gap from lip to knuckle! The Super-Pipe is next to open on our list and more park changes will be happening throughout the week! So get here to get down in a fun, innovative, progressive, park!! Today’s high is 52 degrees and is mostly sunny. There is snow in the forecast for tonight through tomorrow night

Analog D.U.F. 4!

January 6, 2013 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Yesterday, Bear Mountain Analog held the 4th annual Design Unlikely Features contest. Where they allow you to let your imagination run wild and turn it into reality. After tons of entries and all sorts of feature ideas Analog sits down with our Park Staff and make one lucky persons entry come alive! With all sorts of crazy Analog features plus this years addition the set-up was spectacular! The groms and ladies took to the features first setting the bar high! There were little guys hitting rails taller then themselves and girls sending it bigger then most the boys! Steven Sullivan took home the win for the groms while Melissa Spillman took top honors for the ladies
