Chair 1 opens today accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders as well as Chair 8 accessing Bear Bottom Beginner Area. Snow Summit will open for the 2012-13 ski and snowboard season tomorrow! Chair 1 will be open accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom for intermediate to advanced skiers and riders. Depending on tonight’s snowmaking; Chair 8 accessing Bear Bottom beginner may also be open tomorrow. Follow this link for details on Bear Mountain’s opening day celebrations. In honor of Veterans Day and to show our appreciation we are offering FREE lift tickets for active duty military, veterans, and retirees with proper I.D.

Opening Day Monday, November 12th
There’s no better way to start off a Monday like Opening Day at Bear with a full park set-up. The snowmaking has been good and although we could open Sunday we want to deliver the best terrain park experience you can get in SoCal as usual! In honor of Veterans Day and to show our appreciation we are offering FREE lift tickets for active duty military, veterans, and retirees with proper I.D. on Monday November 12, 2012. Thank you for your dedication; now have some fun on us. Early Season Rates will be in effect: All-Day- Adults $35; Young Adults (ages 13-21 with a valid ID) $30; Children (ages 7-12) $15: Children 6 and under are always free with a paying adult.

Opening Day is Monday!
It’s finally here! Snow Summit opens today with plenty of runs to keep you skiing and riding all day long! Start your day off on Chair 1, which accesses Miracle Mile top-to-bottom . Then head over to Chair 2 to take some laps on Upper Summit Run or Chair 3 to access Upper Westridge, Zzyzx and Ego Trip . Chair 8 is also open, accessing the Bear Bottom Beginner Area . More lifts and runs will open as snowmaking continues. Chair 9/Park Run is open top-to-bottom at Bear Mountain. Put your Dual Mountain lift ticket to use and hop on the Inter-Resort Shuttle to take advantage of TWO resorts for the price of one lift ticket. In honor of Veterans Day, we are offering FREE lift tickets on Friday for all active duty and retired military veterans with proper ID. Thanks for all your dedication!
