Skiing and snowboarding is right around the corner! We haven’t set an opening date for winter 2012-13, but if the forecast holds true, we may see colder temps and even a chance of snow by this weekend. We’re headed in the right direction with the potential for snowmaking later in the week and we hope you’re as excited as we are to hit the slopes! SNOWmaking!

January 9, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Today we expect another refreshing break from last week’s warm weather with a high of only 52.  We’re taking advantage of the cool, dry conditions and pumping out snow at every opportunity.  Snowmaking started up Saturday night and we kept it on around-the-clock until early this morning.  Enjoy sunny skies through the rest of the week with a surface that ranges from machine groomed packed powder to hard pack.  Regular season rates are in effect.

Terrain Park Update

December 14, 2011 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

We are on the path to possibly our best season of all time! The park is already starting to surpass our years past set-ups, and it’s only the beginning of December. There are jibs, jumps, rails, boxes and so much more spread across the entire mountain with something for everyone. You definitely have to try out the Skill Builder features over on Chair 6 where we have a bunch of beginner boxes, rollers and jumps that are perfect for anyone looking to learn the basics of freestyle snowboarding
