Chair 1 is a great place to start your season, accessing a stacked park along Expressway, The Gulch and Lower Park Run. Chair 7 is also open accessing Inspiration run for beginners. Today’s forecast is partly sunny with a slight chance of isolated showers, but we know a little weather won’t bother you die-hards

Early Season Fun
Get away for the day and unwind at Snow Summit where we have sunny skies and plenty of snow. Chair 1 is open accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom. After the first few laps of the season you’re new ski legs may need a break so head to the Summit Inn for a drink and a bite to eat while overlooking the slopes. Come by the Guest Service Office for your lift ticket at the Early Season rate: Adults- All day $35/Half-day $30; Young Adults (13-21)- All day $30/Half-day $25; Children (7-12)- All day $15/Half-day $10

Opening Day Monday, November 12th
There’s no better way to start off a Monday like Opening Day at Bear with a full park set-up. The snowmaking has been good and although we could open Sunday we want to deliver the best terrain park experience you can get in SoCal as usual! In honor of Veterans Day and to show our appreciation we are offering FREE lift tickets for active duty military, veterans, and retirees with proper I.D. on Monday November 12, 2012. Thank you for your dedication; now have some fun on us. Early Season Rates will be in effect: All-Day- Adults $35; Young Adults (ages 13-21 with a valid ID) $30; Children (ages 7-12) $15: Children 6 and under are always free with a paying adult.

The skiing and snowboarding season is right around the corner! This weekend is going to be a cold one and we expect to make snow all weekend long. We’ll keep you posted on opening day information

Winter Weather Has Arrived
Skiing and snowboarding is right around the corner! We haven’t set an opening date for winter 2012-13, but if the forecast holds true, we may see colder temps and even a chance of snow by this weekend. We’re headed in the right direction with the potential for snowmaking later in the week and we hope you’re as excited as we are to hit the slopes!
