These lifts will take you to terrain for all levels, from beginners to advanced, and provide you access to better conditions than any other SoCal resort! Caltrans has reported that all roads to Big Bear are open and clear. You have an easy drive this weekend to the mountains so you can finish the Holidays out with a weekend to ski your choice of day and/or night sessions

The Fun Continues Tomorrow…

We had a blast today making some turns!  We were able to reopen Chair 9 for top to bottom terrain due to the almost foot of the fresh natural snow we received yesterday and also thanks to our world class snowmaking system! Tomorrow is on point to open more terrain as we have already kicked on the snow guns now that the temperatures are dropping! Tomorrow we will have beginner terrain as we plan to open Chair 7 and that also means that we will be starting to host lessons here at our resort! It’s looking like this cold weather plans to stick around for awhile so we expect to be able to open more and more terrain as we lead up to Christmas! So if you’re dreaming of a white Christmas, make your plans to come up to Big Bear for the holidays! End 2013 With A Bang

We have a number of events beginning this week, starting with our annual New Years Eve party! DJ Club George will be in spinning records all night while the signature cocktails flow! Did you know that any Bear Mountain pass is good for night sessions at Snow Summit? Summit has scheduled night sessions all week and every night at around 5 they put a fresh groom on the park run! (Westridge) Zak Hale is home for the holidays and currently shredding what our Park Crew has set up.

Extended Bike Park Dates

We have decided to keep the bike park open for weekend through October 27th. After that weekend we will be on a weekend to weekend basis depending on weather conditions. In preparation for the 2013-14 Winter season we will have Chair 2 closed for mountain biking this weekend

Holidays at Bear!

The Holidays are here and we have gifts for all! We have been making snow at every opportunity and we now have Showtime and Rips Run open as well as Chair 2 accessing Amusement Park! The park saw some awesome changes as we shifted things around in the Gulch, and all throughout Park Run  adding new hips, quarterpipes, and jibs and resetting the bottom jump making it the best it’s been all season! Not to mention the newly remodeled Red Bull Plaza opened Friday and is clearly the new hot attraction on the mountain! All this plus blue skies and plenty of open runs means this holiday season is going to be one to remember!  Click HERE  to make your lift tickets reservations online today.
