This Week’s Outlook
Park Staff has some big changes in store, so Lower Westridge will be closed temporarily but look for a complete park update soon! Our 60th Anniversary Party is this Saturday, January 12th. We’ll be celebrating with live entertainment and drink specials at the all-new Slopeside Pub and a spectacular fireworks show at 7pm

This Week at Snow Summit
It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for! Chair 1 opens today accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders as well as Chair 8 accessing Bear Bottom Beginner Area. Snow Summit will open for the 2012-13 ski and snowboard season tomorrow! Chair 1 will be open accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom for intermediate to advanced skiers and riders. Depending on tonight’s snowmaking; Chair 8 accessing Bear Bottom beginner may also be open tomorrow. Follow this link for details on Bear Mountain’s opening day celebrations. Weekend Snow Report
Skiing and Snowboarding are a great way to spend your winter vacations. Make reservations online , arrive early for parking and hit up Chairs 7 and 10 for the shortest lines. We have very good coverage and the deepest snow base in California. Today is sunny with a high of 67, so bust out those sweatshirts and sunglasses, and don’t forget the sunblock! Remember that your lift ticket is also good at Bear Mountain, so hop on the free shuttle and check out The People’s Park.

We had a great opening day yesterday and are looking forward to a fun first weekend of skiing and snowboarding! Chair 1 accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom , Chair 2 accessing Upper Summit Run, Chair 3 accessing Upper Westridge, Zzyzx and Ego Trip, and Chair 8 accessing the Bear Bottom Beginner Area are all open. Put your Dual Mountain Lift Ticket to use today and take the free inter-moutain shuttle over to Bear Mountain for Chair 9/Park Run , which is open top-to-bottom and stacked with features. Chair 7 accessing Inspiration also opens today. In honor of Veterans Day, we are offering FREE lift tickets to all active duty military, veterans, and retirees with proper ID. This deal is offered at our Guest Services office.
