Skiing and snowboarding is right around the corner! We haven’t set an opening date for winter 2012-13, but if the forecast holds true, we may see colder temps and even a chance of snow by this weekend. We’re headed in the right direction with the potential for snowmaking later in the week and we hope you’re as excited as we are to hit the slopes! Winter Weather Coming Soon
This week’s weather is starting to hint towards winter, with cooler temps and a chance of SNOW on Friday! If the forecast holds true, we may even be able to start snowmaking this week! We still haven’t set an opening date, but continue to check back as temperatures drop and snowmaking begins for winter season info. Learn more about our innovative snowmaking system HERE or watch Snow Summit’s segment on the Travel Channel.
Come enjoy spring skiing and riding this week at Snow Summit. We are expected to remain open with complete services for the entire family, including snow sports school and all levels of terrain, through at least April 15th. Bear Mountain is expected to keep chair 9 open accessing Park Run top-to-bottom, Central Park, the Superpipe and the Halfpipe through at least April 15h.

This week’s 6 inches of new snow was a fun treat for the end of March, but now we’re back to clear blue skies and temps in the 50′s for the rest of the week. Wednesday’s Outlook
Yesterdayday was a blast! Danny and The Dingo sure do know how to throw a party. Today is pretty jammed packed with excitement as well.
