Yesterday’s storm cleared out early and left us with the perfect conditions to make some new snow overnight. We’re looking at mostly sunny skies and a high of 46, but don’t put away your heavy jackets just yet. Old Man Winter will be back tomorrow, possibly bringing several inches of natural snow . Have fun today and think snow for tomorrow!

Sunday Funday
Today is going to be another great day at Snow Summit with beautiful blue skies and wide open runs. If you’ve only been to our resorts on weekends, sneak away from work today and experience the amazing midweek conditions. Despite the warm weather in other parts of Southern California, we still have plenty of snow with a 1-3 foot base and nearly every run open. Put your dual mountain lift ticket to use and enjoy nearly 438 skiable acres with hardly any crowds or lift lines. Today’s high is 55 and the sun is shining.

Midweek Fun
We turned the fan guns on yesterday evening for a great night of snowmaking. We expect to make even more tonight and will continue as long as the conditions are just right. Machine groomed packed powder, sunny skies and a high of 46 degrees make up the recipe for a perfect day on the slopes. Enjoy! Snow Summit and Bear Mountain have nearly 438 skiable acres, wide open runs and plenty of snow; in fact, there is more snow in Big Bear than almost anywhere else and we’re making more at every opportunity. Some light snowfall is likely later this afternoon and our high is 39. So make sure to dress warm and join us for good times. Don’t forget that we have night session tonight from 3-9:30. Westridge gets a fresh evening groom during night session, so you can enjoy the freshest terrain since first chair.

Night Session Tonight
We’re putting our guests first and providing all access to Two Full Service Mountain Resorts unlike other SoCal mountains.
Snow-we have plenty of it! Despite the lack of snow in other California regions, Big Bear has been fortunate with snowmaking and early season snowfalls providing snow depths of 1-3 feet, very good snow coverage and nearly 100{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} open runs – that’s almost 438 skiable acres! While the weather has been relatively mild at the valleys and beaches, we have been making snow the past couple of nights up here in Big Bear and the snow conditions are better than you might think.

Got Snow!
Today we expect another refreshing break from last week’s warm weather with a high of only 52. We’re taking advantage of the cool, dry conditions and pumping out snow at every opportunity. Snowmaking started up Saturday night and we kept it on around-the-clock until early this morning. Enjoy sunny skies through the rest of the week with a surface that ranges from machine groomed packed powder to hard pack. Regular season rates are in effect.
