SNOWmaking!
Today we expect another refreshing break from last week’s warm weather with a high of only 52. We’re taking advantage of the cool, dry conditions and pumping out snow at every opportunity. Snowmaking started up Saturday night and we kept it on around-the-clock until early this morning. Enjoy sunny skies through the rest of the week with a surface that ranges from machine groomed packed powder to hard pack. Regular season rates are in effect.

New Snow
Our resorts have had several inches of fresh snow this week and it snowed another 2 inches last night and more light snowfall is in today’s forecast. Come enjoy the best snow conditions this holiday season right here in your back yard! Snow Summit and Bear Mountain currently have 25 lifts available , nearly every run open and 150 park features.Holiday rates are in effect.

Opening Day Around the Corner
Our goal is to open Snow Summit for the winter season later in the week. As always we want to make sure we have a great snowbase and quality snow for you to enjoy, and we will make snow at every opportunity to make that happen. Miracle Mile and Bear Bottom Beginner runs will be the first to open.

Winter 2011-12 Coming Soon
Get ready for winter because it looks like cold weather is on the way. We’re expecting temps to drop this week with a chance of natural snowfall, and we’ll begin snowmaking once conditions are just right.
