Happy Spring!

March 20, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

That 28-32 inches of fresh snow over the weekend was nothing short of amazing, but now we’re kicking off Spring with that classic SoCal weather we all love. Skies are sunny and highs are in the 50′s all week long, and today’s packed powder will make for some of the best skiing and riding conditions of the season! Bust out the sunblock and your favorite shades and get going. Our operating hours are 9am-4pm for all day and 12-4 for half-day

Return to Winter

February 14, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Old Man Winter stopped by yesterday, bringing us 2-3 inches of natural snow .  Temps were cool enough for us to make plenty of snow last night and we plan to make even more tonight.  To top it all off, we’re expecting another storm to roll through tomorrow, bringing us even more of the good stuff. The storm is clearing today long enough for you to enjoy the partly sunny skies and a packed powder to powder snow surface.

Saturday’s Forecast

February 11, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Temps cool down a bit today with a high of 47, mostly sunny skies and a slight chance of snow this afternoon.  Nearly all runs and lifts are open; in fact, we have more open terrain at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain than any other SoCal resort. Whether you’re looking for fast turns on the steeps, a cruise on the east side, mellow runs on the beginner slopes or park fun on Westridge, we’ve got something for you. 98.7FM will be helping us with tunes on the VIP deck this afternoon and we have Night Session tonight from 3-9:30pm.
