New Terrain, New Features, Last Day of Early Season Ticket Pricing and Some Amazing Conditions- Get Up Here!

Good Morning Riders! What an epic week at Bear Mountain Resort ! We had an additional 5-7″ of natural snow on top of last week’s 8-11″! We have also had an amazing week for making our signature snow ! What does this mean to you as you arrive at the resort this morning? It means you are in for a fun filled, sunny day of epic riding in some awesome conditions ! Our trail count and lift count have gone up along with the feature count! If you haven’t been up in the last couple of days, you will find a whole new mountain today! At 9 am this morning we will be adding Chair 4 and Chair 2 into the mix! With that comes access to the steeps of Silver Mountain where riders will be able to hit Exhibition for the first runs of the season as well as everyone’s favorite beginner park- Amusement Park ! Clayton and the Park Crew have 6 snow features out there for you and 30 jibs ! Let’s go! If you need on last nudge to get you out on the slopes today- here it is: Today is the last day of early season ticket pricing! Come out for the best conditions of the season and save some cash! It only takes just 5 minutes to make enough snow to fill a swimming pool. Easy Street along with chair 6 has opened for beginners and chairs 1 and 9 will get you to 30 “Bear Built” features

The latest new trails and chairs open: Upper Westridge / Zzxyz Chair 3 We’re expecting Mother Nature to deliver fresh powder overnight. Coffee and breakfast are served at the Summit Inn as early as 8:30 am.

New Runs Open!

We have opened Chair 2 servicing upper Summit Run, meaning we now have Low Intermediate Terrain from the top of the summit!  Note that the Low Intermediate Terrain ends once the trail merges with Miracle Mile (Intermediate). Next to open will be lower Summit Run and Ego Trip. Riders are reporting that the packed powder is perfect.

9″ of Fresh Powder!

We’re open today for skiing and snowboarding today with some fresh POWDER! The current storm has brought us some 9″ of fresh snow and it’s not showing signs of stopping anytime soon! Drive safe today! It will take you some extra time to get up here but the conditions will be worth it! Don’t forget your tire chains, they are required on all vehicles except those with 4wd and awd with snow tires on highways 18 and 38. Highway 330/18 the front way is closed but plans to reopen this morning. Check CalTrans for the latest road information.
