Open trails , open roads and rolling right onto the lift are what mid-week skiing and riding is all about. When you factor in the conditions we currently are skiing and riding, it becomes pretty difficult to ignore the fact that the slopes are calling out to you . Find a way to sneak to the mountains for a day- you will thank yourself later.

Spectacular sunshine and amazing conditions are what our skiers and riders found today and it’s a pretty sure bet tomorrow will be much of the same. In fact the forecast for the rest of the week and this weekend looks like sun and fun.

After the storm we had roll through and the tremendous amount of snow we were able to make- the conditions do not get much better. In just over a week we have received 16-20 inches of natural snow and have had five nights of snowmaking allowing us to offer mid-winter conditions in the first week of March.  Mid-week skiing and riding this week will be the best of the season thus far and those who are able to ski and ride will find amazing conditions almost to themselves

Good Morning And Welcome To A Snowy Saturday

The National Weather Service has issues a Winter Storm Warning for the Big Bear area which takes effect at 4 pm this afternoon and remains in effect through 4 pm Monday afternoon. The Warning calls for periods of snow showers with locally heavy snowfall for the mountains above 5,000 feet. Our snow makers have been at it every moment conditions have allowed this past week and it looks like they will be able to continue through this storm further ensuring you will find the best conditions in Southern California at our resorts. We have more open terrain than any other SoCal resort with better coverage, better snow conditions, better features, better parks and better events.
