Snow Conditions

January 10, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Got snow? We do, and plenty of it! Despite the lack of snow in other California regions, Big Bear Mountain Resorts has been fortunate with snowmaking and early season snowfalls providing snow depths of 1-3 feet, very good snow coverage and nearly 100{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} open runs- that’s almost 438 rideable acres! Beat the heat and head up here to Bear where we have been making snow  recent nights and the snow conditions are better than you might think. Enjoy the wide open runs and the most terrain park features in So Cal

November 13, 2011 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

This has been one of our earliest resort openings; we’re in great shape with a one to two foot base and the snow coverage is very good. These first few days have been super fun and there are more good times to be had. We have 4 chairs open at Snow Summit accessing Miracle Mile, upper Summit Run, upper Westridge, ZZYZX, Ego Trip and Bear Bottom beginner area
