Yesterday’s 12-14 inches of fresh snow was so much fun but today should be even better! The storm is forecast to clear out this morning, leaving behind clear blue skies and a high of 39 to go with a packed powder surface.

March Madness!

Its hard to believe we’re already in the second week of March! It seems like this winter is flying by but its not over yet and the conditions are still the best in Southern California. With the deepest snowpack and 100{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} open runs,  Snow Summit is the place to be! With snow predicted in this weeks forecast and some super fun events coming up, March is going to be busy! Be sure to save the date for the 17th Annual Victor Alvarez Memorial Race and Silent Auction, coming to Snow Summit this Saturday, March 9th.

Last Night Sessions!

As Spring draws near that means that night session at Snow Summit  is coming to an end. This Friday March 1st will be the last Friday night session of the 2012-2013 season. There are two more Saturday night sessions schedule for this season (March 2nd and 9th)

More Fresh Snow!

We received another 2 inches of fresh snow last night to add to Friday’s 18 inches! We’ve also had great snowmaking the past two night and will continue making snow as conditions permit. If you haven’t been at Bear the last two days, you’ve missing out on the best conditions of the season. We have excellent midwinter conditions right now and the vibe at the mountain is at a season high! You can’t help but getting stoked when you arrive and see the white-covered mountains

18 Inches of Fresh Powder!

We received 18+ inches of fresh snow yesterday and overnight! Today is clearing up nicely for partly sunny skies. Line up early to get the most out of today’s powder to machine groomed packed powder surface! Today’s conditions are the best of the season and we know you’ll be stoked! It may take you a little extra time to get up here this weekend but the conditions definitely make it worth it! All Highways 330/18 – the front way, and 18- through Lucerne  to Big Bear are open with chains required. Chair 1 is  closed for maintenance, however Chair 2 is open and accesses the entire mountain
