New Terrain, New Features, Last Day of Early Season Ticket Pricing and Some Amazing Conditions- Get Up Here!
Good Morning Riders! What an epic week at Bear Mountain Resort ! We had an additional 5-7″ of natural snow on top of last week’s 8-11″! We have also had an amazing week for making our signature snow ! What does this mean to you as you arrive at the resort this morning? It means you are in for a fun filled, sunny day of epic riding in some awesome conditions ! Our trail count and lift count have gone up along with the feature count! If you haven’t been up in the last couple of days, you will find a whole new mountain today! At 9 am this morning we will be adding Chair 4 and Chair 2 into the mix! With that comes access to the steeps of Silver Mountain where riders will be able to hit Exhibition for the first runs of the season as well as everyone’s favorite beginner park- Amusement Park ! Clayton and the Park Crew have 6 snow features out there for you and 30 jibs ! Let’s go! If you need on last nudge to get you out on the slopes today- here it is: Today is the last day of early season ticket pricing! Come out for the best conditions of the season and save some cash! Snow Summit will remain closed Thursday and is scheduled to reopen Friday at 9 am…

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us in the Big Bear Mountain Resorts family! We wish you a great day and hope it includes at least a few traditional laps at Snow Summit today! Skiing and riding resumes this morning by way of Chair 1 servicing the summit with top-to-bottom skiing and riding via Miracle Mile .

Happy Thanksgiving and Welcome Back to Opening Weekend at Snow Summit Resort!
Have you heard? Friday is the word……OPENING DAY AT BEAR MOUNTAIN!
It’s Go Time! Bear Mountain will be OPEN for skiing and riding next weekend! Bear will spin the lifts for the public starting at 8:30 am, Friday the 28th of November! We will operate from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Fri, Sat and Sunday ! Just can’t wait until Friday? Snow Summit will be opening for the season on Wednesday with top to bottom skiing and riding as well as terrain for all ability levels including terrain features . While Snow Summit Resort will stay open through the week, Bear Mountain will re-open again Saturday and Sunday the 6th and 7th of December and open for daily operation on Friday, December 12th .

HDHR always gets us fired up for the upcoming snow season, but when the Annual Surfside Snow Carnival rolls around we know it’s time to start getting seriously ready for winter! And it’s that time again! Come hang out with us and just about the entire snow sports industry for a fun and sun filled day of getting excited for skiing and riding ! Gear Up For A Great Weekend
Come celebrate our last scheduled weekend of skiing and snowboarding for the 2013/14 winter season at Bear Mountain. we have two huge events planned. On Saturday (3/29) is the Neff Beach Bash and Sunday (3/30) is Spring Break Reggae Fest.
