Snow Summit and Bear Mountain now have 10 lifts available serving the most open terrain in So Cal! Chair 1 at Snow Summit is open accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom. Chair 2 is open accessing Summit run top-to-bottom. Chair 3 is open serving both Upper Westridge and ZZYZX and Chairs 4 and 8 are open accessing the Bear Bottom Beginner Area. The Best Snow Conditions are in Big Bear!
Happy first day of winter! With all the snow we’ve gotten already, it’s hard to believe that winter is just starting, but we’re kicking it off with a 2-3 foot base , excellent coverage, and nearly every run open. If you haven’t been up here to experience the best snow conditions around, now is the time. We’re looking at nice weather and clear skies for the rest of the week, so make sure to ring in your holidays at Snow Summit!
Nearly All Runs Open This Weekend
Snow Summit and Bear Mountain currently have 21 lifts available, the most open terrain in SoCal and over 100 park features. Westridge is undergoing a full park set-up and is expected to open Friday along with The Wall and Olympic. We expect to have all lifts operable and most runs open by this weekend including Geronimo at Bear Mountain! Big Bear Lake received 4 inches of new snow yesterday and nothin’ rings in the holidays like packed powder snow conditions. Night session is scheduled for Friday and Saturday night beginning at 3pm.
