Park Staff has been changing the park almost nightly! Our new park count is 41 jibs and 26 snow features with an array of boxes, rails, jumps, and hips for all skill levels beginner to expert. We have the corrugated tube set up in an all new location plus the Seth-asaurus, Simon Flat-Down box, and the Van all set up! The Red Bull Plaza is becoming a favorite for both riders and spectators. Cooler temps have been allowing a lot of snow making! Chair 3 is open today accessing Upper Gambler and Street Scene.

Here at Bear Mountain we love giving a really awesome gift! Which is why we give to all of you a jam-packed, fun, and exciting park with the largest beginner area in So Cal. Because we think the best gift of all is the gift to ride! So come shred with us at The Scene, Riglet Park, The Red Bull Plaza, and all of our open runs for some holiday cheer! Today’s forecast is snowy with a high of 41 so dress warm and get ready for a White Christmas!

It’s been a good time on Chair 1 with 26 terrain park features and in the interest of providing you with an enjoyable experience, we have sold out of upper mountain lift tickets for today however; you can still ski or ride the beginner area accessed by Chair 7.

With a couple new features (including our SUV and a long time rider favorite Donkey Rail) the park has become even better! Park Staff also re-pushed Bottom Jump giving it a whole new floaty feeling that we all look for when catching some air! Sunny skies and jib lines are in today’s forecast so tell your boss you got a case of the shreds and get up here!

Feature Factory

With 5 brand new features for the 2012-13 season and 32 other features our park is fully loaded for early season. Chair 1 accessing Expressway, The Gulch, and into Lower Park Run provides a longer more advanced park. While Chair 7 accesses the beginner area with smaller easier features

Epic Weekend

Yesterday’s 14-16 inches of fresh powder made for a fun day on the mountain but today is THE day; sunny skies, packed powder turns and nearly all run are open! Snow Summit will be open through  at least Tuesday, April 17th . Arrive early, ski and ride all morning long, eat lunch and finish up your weekend on the slopes.
