Park Staff has also made a few new changes to Westridge, including two skill builder boxes and a mini bank halfpipe at the top of Chair 2.

Snow Summit is now 100{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} open with something for everyone, including steeps, intermediate runs and a park stacked with 28 jibs and 38 snow features! The recent cool weather has allowed for great overnight snowmaking and has helped keep our snow surface nice. With such excellent snow conditions right here in your local mountains, you won’t need to travel far for an amazing time on the slopes! We have one more day of cool temps with today’s high 34 degrees. We’re expecting warmer temps and more sunny skies all week long and through the weekend! There is a slight chance of snow flurries early this morning then mostly sunny skies return. This weekend is going to be amazing with excellent midwinter conditions and machine groomed packed powder on all of your favorite runs. We received 3-5 inches of snow on Thursday and we’ve been making snow all night long

This Week at Snow Summit
Park Staff has some big changes in store, so Lower Westridge will be closed temporarily but look for a complete park update soon! Our 60th Anniversary Party is this Saturday, January 12th. We’ll be celebrating with live entertainment and drink specials at the all-new Slopeside Pub and a spectacular fireworks show at 7pm

Snow Predicted!
Snow showers are forecasted through today and tomorrow then clearing tomorrow night. The midwinter packed powder conditions are great! Snow Summit is nearly 100{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} open with all of your favorite runs, including the steeps: The Wall and Olympic, and locals favorite: Chairs 7.Westridge and ZZYZX now have 27 jibs and 14 snow features for all abilities including the super-fun Breadbox, which is great for beginners and intermediate park riders. Bear Bottom Beginners Area is also open with a safe and stress-free learning environment.

Goodbye, 2012. Hello, 2013! We can’t think of a better way to close out another great year than by spending the day at Snow Summit. We received 1-3 inches of fresh snow yesterday and today’s forecast is nothin’ but sun!
