Bear Mountain Snow Report

Tuesday’s Outlook

January 24, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

We got some new snow yesterday! It wasn’t what we were hoping for, but the storm left us about an inch, which is enough to freshen up our surface. We’re back to sunny skies again today with a high of 43. The wind might pick up a little bit today, so be sure to cover up that pretty face of yours

Snow Forecast Today!

January 23, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Snow day! We knew it would come around! Today’s high is 38 with a 100{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} chance of snow. The forecast is calling for 3 to 5 inches, which would be absolutely wonderful.  This snow/cold front is going to great for getting back that packed powder and machine groomed packed powder surface! We hope you can make it up soon : )

Sunday’s Outlook

January 22, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Welcome back sun! Well, not for too long… The forecast is calling for sunny skies today, but we’re expecting snow tomorrow! We never know what is actually going to happen, but the National Weather Service is claiming a good chance of snow this Monday with several inches accumulation possible . Let’s not jinx it, but we’ll hope for the best! As for today, mostly sunny with a high of 46. We were able to make snow last night so the surface should be pretty nice today, ranging from machine groomed hard pack to packed powder.  Have fun out there! Be sure to check out this week’s Sunday in the Park episode on TWSnow.com

We’re looking at another beautiful sunny day with a high of 58 degrees. Midweek is our favorite time to ride- lift lines are short and the runs aren’t too crowded. If you haven’t gotten to experience the midweek fun yet, now’s the time.
