Transworld Trans AM
There is a lot to look forward to at Bear Mountain this week! Our favorite friend SNOW is in the forecast with chances of showers Tuesday night through Friday. Once the weekend hits it is back to the competitive side of things. The 8th stop of the Transworld Trans Am will be here with a fun event to both watch and participate in.

Busy Week Ahead
This weekend we hosted the largest rail jam in the world with the all-ski event War Of Rails. Our park staff went above and beyond with the massive set up and they were able to maintain the course throughout the contest so the skiers could continue to push themselves. However now it’s Monday and that means this weekend we will be hosting the Transworld Trans AM snowboard rail jam.

Trasnformation Time
The biggest ski event on the West Coast and the biggest rail jam in the world has come to an end. Day two of the competition went off! Every competitor from day one stepped it up to shred the intimidatingly huge course with top notch professional skiers such as LJ Sternio, Sean Jordan, Clayton Vila, and mud more! The top 15 squared off in finals for what was an epic throw down of insane skiers. At the end of the day the three big winners were 3rd place Dale Talkington, 2nd place Pat Goodnough, but the man on top of the day was LJ Sterino! His huge double corks, cork 810′s, and other effortless rail maneuvers landed him on top of the podium.

Today War Of Rails was nothing short of spectacular, and the best is yet to come! We saw the amateurs charging the mind blowing course and the top 20 will move on to tomorrows competition to go against top professionals from all over the world! War Of Rails Day One!
War Of Rails is a ski event put on by local professional skier Craig Coker and starts today! The event is on its 4th annual year and has continued to grow in every way! The event is recognized in the ski industry by top magazines like Freeskier as a don’t-miss event! The best rail riders on earth travel from all over the world to compete for the $30,ooo purse. From underground street shredders to X-Games athletes, this event attracts them all! One of the best parts about this contest, it is spectacular to watch! You see all the action right from the comforts of our 13,000 square foott Sundeck and Beach Bar! We will be offering event drink specials all weekend including the crowd favorite from last year, Rum & Coker! Come catch some rays, takes some runs, grab a drink, and enjoy the show!
