Re-Opening Saturday!
We received 7-9 inches of fresh snow yesterday and a dusting overnight. Add good snowmaking and everyone’s favorite lift, and we’re in for a super fun Friday! Chair 9 opens today accessing Upper Park Run and Upper Expressway! Chair 1 accessing Expressway, The Gulch and Lower Park Run is also open as well as Chair 7 accessing Inspiration Run for beginners

New Snow and a New Chair
With the current forecast, we expect to reopen Snow Summit as early as this weekend. We’re looking forward to getting back on track if the forecast holds true, with some good snowmaking and a chance of natural snow. Our operations are still weather and conditions dependent, so keep an eye on the weather HERE and check our website often for the latest information.

Operations Outlook
The Park setup is looking good and this week’s weather forecast looks encouraging for snowmaking! There is even a possibility of a little natural snowfall later in the week. We will focus making snow on Upper Park Run, Park Face and the beginner runs, for now. As snowmaking continues then even more runs will open.

This Week at Bear
The weather forecast is favorable for snowmaking and with continued snowmaking we could re-open Snow Summit in the next few days . More lifts and runs will open in the near future if this forecast holds true.

Snowmaking Forecast
Park Staff has been working diligently to keep our park as fun as possible! Bear will be open through the weekend so if your planning on coming up for some fun then reserve your tickets HERE . We are limiting ticket sales right now to provide a more enjoyable experience. Due to very limited Beginner terrain, Chair 7 accessing Inspiration run will be reserved only to first-timers purchasing a lift and lesson package this Saturday. If you are a beginner planning on taking a lesson this Sunday then please check back later this afternoon for terrain details.

Wednesday on the Snow
The Park has undergone a few changes this week with a new feature count of 18 jibs and 8 snow features. We are very thankful to have such an awesome and dedicated Staff and Park Crew!
