Happy New Year’s Eve!
All three roads are Open to Big Bear! At this time there are chain requirements on Highway 330, 38 and 18 however we do expect restrictions to be lifted later this morning. Today there is a slight chance of snowfall in the morning then clearing up to be partly sunny with a high of 30

Snow Summit now has every lift available and is nearly 100{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} open! Chair 6 opens today accessing SoCal’s favorite black diamond runs The Wall and Olympic! Tommi’s, Jo’s and Sideshow are now open off of Chair 10 where you can find shorter lift lines.

Park Staff has been changing the park almost nightly! Our new park count is 41 jibs and 26 snow features with an array of boxes, rails, jumps, and hips for all skill levels beginner to expert. We have the corrugated tube set up in an all new location plus the Seth-asaurus, Simon Flat-Down box, and the Van all set up! The Red Bull Plaza is becoming a favorite for both riders and spectators. Cooler temps have been allowing a lot of snow making! Chair 3 is open today accessing Upper Gambler and Street Scene.

Wednesday’s 4 inches of natural snow combined with around-the-clock snowmaking are making for the best machine groomed packed powder conditions so far this season.

Chair 10 Opens Today
Yesterday’s 4 inches of snowfall combined with overnight snowmaking is making for one great day in The Park! Park run and Chair 4 are open top to bottom along with plenty more fun runs and terrain park features that will keep you super stoked. Today and tomorrow are mostly sunny with temperatures in the 30′s. The packed powder conditions are a perfect way to ring in the new year so pack your gear and head up here.

We received 4 inches of snow yesterday and the sun is back today! Snow Summit and Bear Mountain have 22 available lifts, 80{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} open runs and machine groomed packed powder all day long. Miracle Mile, Summit Run, Log Chute and Westridge are all open top-to-bottom and the beginner area is open for first and second timers.
