After Friday’s 12-14 inches of fresh snow, we’re ready for another great day at Bear! Temps are a little warmer today with a high of 45, making for great shred weather. All roads are open and clear, the sun is out and the park is stacked.

Did you remember to change your clocks last night??  With the days getting longer its a great time to get some sun on the best snow in Southern California! Fridays storm brought 12-14 inches of the good stuff making for super fun packed powder conditions today! Remember that our new operating hours go into effect today: Saturdays and Sundays – 8:30am-5:00pm Mondays through Fridays – 9:00am-4:00pm Goldsmith’s 4th race of the season is today on Miracle Mile so come cheer on Snow Summits Race Team. With open roads, sunny conditions and the best Bloody Mary’s in Big Bear today is going to be a great Sunday Funday!

We received 12-14 inches of fresh snow yesterday, making Bear Mountain the place to be this weekend! Today’s forecast is clearing to mostly sunny skies with a high of 39. Our park is fully-loaded with features for all skill levels. We offer the largest beginner area in Southern California, and have the highest lift served peak in Southern California! Need a couple more reasons to head up this weekend?

Not only is this special day a way to remember Victor, it’s also a fundraiser for the Snow Summit Junior Race team. Enter to race for your share of a $3,075 cash purse, or stop by the silent auction to bid on items such as hotel accommodations, ski and snowboard equipment and more! There is a slight chance of snow in today’s forecast as the first of two storms is expected to hit by mid-day. Another, stronger system is forecast for Thursday/Friday bringing more snow and colder temps

Busy Week Ahead

The 8th stop of the Transworld Trans Am will be here with a fun event to both watch and participate in.
