Expect sunny skies today as you make that easy drive up the mountain. If you left the house early, there’s less traffic and you might have caught the sunrise. All roads to Big Bear are open with no restrictions and the surface is freshly machine groomed

We are still open for daily operations! As of now, we will be open from 9am-3pm daily until April 5th. If the conditions allow for us to stay open beyond the 5th, we will. That info will be available as we get closer to the 5th.

Photographers refer to the first and last hour of daylight as the “Golden Hour”.  Spring Skiers and Riders who have been around for a season or two know we have our equivalent-  The Window . The Window is that period during the day when things soften up to a near perfect surface but have’t crossed over to late afternoon conditions

If you missed the blog yesterday we have a major update for you. We have had a lot of folks with useless passes from other resorts taking advantage of our March Madness Special.  We want to assure them we will be skiing and riding through at least April 5th and hopefully further into Spring
