Chair 9 accessing Cruiser and the Sundown Family Fun Zone is now open at Snow Summit! There are a total 16 jibs and 4 snow features , including skill builder features, on Upper Westridge and Zzyxz. Chair 7 and the east side of the mountain is also open, accessing Log Chute top-to-bottom, Lower Timber Ridge and 7-Down! We’ve got sunny skies, very good coverage, and the most open terrain in Southern California. There are now 16 available lifts available at both resorts and we will open even more runs and lifts with continued snowmaking

Chair 7 accessing Upper Log Chute, Lower Tiber Ridge and 7-Down opens today! We’ve been making snow around the clock and we’ll continue to do so at every opportunity. Come spend Sunday on the snow with packed powder conditions, very good coverage , and the most open terrain in Southern California. We have 11 lifts now open at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain, and will open even more with continued snowmaking. Today’s forecast is 36 degrees and sunny. Bundle up and have fun out there!

Happy Monday! We received 5″ of fresh snow overnight and are looking forward to mostly sunny skies today . The packed powder conditions are going to be super fun so get your gear waxed and enjoy. We have up to 5 lifts open, very good coverage and a base depth of 1 to 2 feet.

Yesterday’s 4 to 6 inches of snowfall was more than we expected! Snowmaking looks good with cold temps forecast for the next several nights. We’ve been making snow for nearly 12 hours and will continue at every opportunity. Opening day is just around the corner! Needless to say the Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair is closed for the season
