The Spring break vibes have arrived at Bear! Get out your sun screen and put away your jackets- it is time to have some fun! Right now we are have a uniquely creative park set and awesome spring events & deals going on. Come enjoy live music in the Boardroom Bar and a special concert from Eve 6 tomorrow. The weather is awesome, the crowds are minimal, and the drinks at the bar hit the spot

We received 12-14 inches of fresh snow yesterday! That, combined with the best snow pack in Southern California makes Bear Mountain the place to be! Our park is fully loaded with features for all skill levels.

The sun is out this morning and skies are clearing. There is still a chance of some scattered showers and snow levels are forecast to drop so we could see a little fresh snow Sunday and Monday.

Snow Summit is now 100% open with something for everyone, including steeps, intermediate runs and a park stacked with 28 jibs and 38 snow features! The recent cool weather has allowed for great overnight snowmaking and has helped keep our snow surface nice. With such excellent snow conditions right here in your local mountains, you won’t need to travel far for an amazing time on the slopes! We have one more day of cool temps with today’s high 34 degrees. We’re expecting warmer temps and more sunny skies all week long and through the weekend! Be sure to take advantage of our Learn a Snow Sport Month deal, where first timers can get free rentals during the month of January with the purchase of a beginner lesson

All three roads are Open to Big Bear! At this time there are chain requirements on Highway 330, 38 and 18 however we do expect restrictions to be lifted later this morning. Today there is a slight chance of snowfall in the morning then clearing up to be partly sunny with a high of 30

It’s a beautiful day to be alive and it’s even better day to be in Big Bear! We are looking at a high of 53 degrees and those perfect California blue skies. Today is one of those days were you want to capture that full Bear Mountain experience; because you know there’s more to it than the great skiing and snowboarding, there’s good times everywhere. After you get a few good power laps in, come hang out on the deck, grab a cold one, soak that sun in, and watch Southern California’s most elite freestyle skiing event.
