Presidents’ Day on the Snow
Celebrate President’s Day in Big Bear where we have excellent midwinter conditions. It’s been a great long weekend and it’s not over yet. There’s plenty of snow, nearly 100% of both resorts are open with plenty of terrain park features between Snow Summit and Bear Mountain.

We received 14-16 inches of fresh powder yesterday and the midwinter conditions are excellent.

Winter Wonderland
Fresh powder is cause for celebration! In addition to snowmaking this week we have 14 inches of new snow and counting. Nothing gets you powder hounds more excited than powder and packed powder runs right!?

Winter in Big Bear
Old Man Winter stopped in Monday, bringing us 2-3 inches of natural snow. The cold, dry weather has been great for snowmaking the past couple of nights and to top it all off, we’re expecting another storm to roll through today, bringing us even more fresh snow.

Old Man Winter stopped by yesterday, bringing us 2-3 inches of natural snow . Temps were cool enough for us to make plenty of snow last night and we plan to make even more tonight. To top it all off, we’re expecting another storm to roll through tomorrow, bringing us even more of the good stuff. The storm is clearing today long enough for you to enjoy the partly sunny skies and a packed powder to powder snow surface.

Saturday’s Forecast
Temps cool down a bit today with a high of 47, mostly sunny skies and a slight chance of snow this afternoon. Nearly all runs and lifts are open; in fact, we have more open terrain at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain than any other SoCal resort. Whether you’re looking for fast turns on the steeps, a cruise on the east side, mellow runs on the beginner slopes or park fun on Westridge, we’ve got something for you. 98.7FM will be helping us with tunes on the VIP deck this afternoon and we have Night Session tonight from 3-9:30pm.

Today’s Forecast
After several nights of snowmaking this week followed by a couple inches of fresh snow, skiing and riding conditions are super fun at Snow Summit. We have excellent coverage, a quality snow surface and the most open terrain in SoCal. Today’s forecast is sunny with a high of 55. The weather is expected to stay just as nice into the weekend, so get up here and have some fun!
